Dimensions shown are nominal dimensions before treatment. Charring, brushing and finishing may result in dimensional variation of up to 5 mm in width and approximately 2-3 mm in thickness. Alternative widths are available upon request.

Maintenance

Every 5-10 years Inspect the façade at least once a year for surface damage, splitting, coating deterioration or discolouration beneath the coating, which could indicate moisture penetration. General exterior cladding guidance, not a separate species-specific interval. Brushed and oiled surfaces expose more grain and need a periodic maintenance coat of the matching oil to preserve colour and protection. Re-oil earlier if the surface shows significant colour loss or coating deterioration; if it remains in good condition, maintenance may be carried out toward the later end of the interval.

Actual timing depends on the timber, finish, façade design, orientation, UV exposure, local climate, moisture, wind, rain, sunlight and architectural detailing. Base maintenance on the visual and protective condition of the surface, not a fixed guarantee. These intervals are not colour-retention warranties or guaranteed service lives.
